Let's begin by introducing myself! I have been shown this awesome online tool called Word Art. Word Art is a site in which a user can input various words that describe them/they are passionate about. This is such an awesome site for students to utilize as it allows for autonomy and creativity. The student is able to craft together colours they would like to use, shapes, fonts etc. I can see this site being a great icebreaker at the beginning of any school year for students to express themselves.

Pinterest is another great site which allows users to make mini vision boards on various topics. I have been using Pinterest for years to help foster ideas in areas of cooking, room decor, teaching, exercise plans etc. I love the layout of Pinterest as it allows users to clearly categorize ideas. I will definitely teach my students about Pinterest and how it can be used to spark ideas but also to organize thoughts.

I plan to constantly be adding more and more to this board as other passions come forward. Feel free to constantly check back to see what I am up to😊
I am sure it is quite obvious that one of my biggest passions is teaching, education and fostering growth in children. I am constantly on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Youtube always coming across videos that really inspire me and the teaching philosophy that I believe in. I came across this TedTalk several years ago and it was always stuck with me. I will end my blog post today with this video. Please enjoy as it is truly one of my favourites.
